Label Assistant

Tribal Music Group is a collective of record labels, creative outlets and social media brands founded in 2014, with a reach of over 1 million daily listeners. We’re an energetic, small and young team with a startup mentality, offering a fun and informal working environment with room to grow and develop alongside the company. We’re continuously looking to further establish and grow our brand in the music, event and publishing industry. We work closely together with hundreds of artists, brands, curators and designers to promote the music signed to our labels and support artists in developing their careers.
Job Description:
As a Label Assistant you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team by carrying out various day-to-day activities such as scheduling releases, rendering videos and assets, publishing and database administration and more. You will be working closely together with the rest of the team and assisting them where possible. This is an entry-level position suitable for people with little prior industry experience and is an excellent way to get acquainted with the music industry on a deeper level. Prior experience in the music industry is a bonus.
Location: Oss, The Netherlands
Responsibilities:
Scheduling: Assisting in the scheduling of releases and general scheduling of label activities (distribution, coordination of campaigns, artworks, contracts).
Administration: Assist with administration and maintenance of metadata for publishing rights, royalty reporting, and other databases.
Artist Support: Communication with our artists to walk them through the process of signing, releasing and marketing and assist them where needed.
Community Management: Communication with our community and assistance in setting up events, livestreams, discord chats, and other kinds of creative brainstorming to expand and maintain our interaction with fans.
Social Media Management: Assisting in keeping up to date and optimizing our social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.
Requirements:
Ability to work from our office in Oss, The Netherlands, which is conveniently located next to Centraal Station Oss and easy to reach by bus and train.
Able to work 24-40 hours per week.
Fluent in English. Dutch is a bonus!
A passion for music. Prior music industry experience is a bonus.
Eager to learn new things and take on different tasks when necessary. College / University background are a bonus, but not a requirement. We’re a small team, which makes flexibility and ability to take on diverse tasks when the need arises a must.
Experience with Photoshop, After Effects and Excel is a bonus.
